This
is a church of great historical interest and has at its heart
the Christian faith. The history of the church runs in parallel
with that of St. Osyth Priory. A guide to the building and a
brief history of the church is available on this website and
in the church should you choose to visit us.
We
welcome worshippers and visitors to our church from the local
community, the UK and the world.
We
hope that you will find the information you need on this website.
It includes details of our services, a diary,
our activities
and past events. If you cannot find what you are looking for
then please do make contact with us by clicking on the CONTACTS
button above. Better still, if you and your family and friends
are able to visit us, you will find a very warm welcome awaits
you.
We
look forward to seeing you.

NEWS
Mrs
Brenda Lord retired as our Tower Captain after an incredible
31 years of service. Brenda was presented with a gift by Revd
Miles - a silver necklass in the form of a bell - after the
main Sunday service on 8th January , after a short presenation
speach by Church Warden, Mrs Sonia Grantham.
During
her 31 years as Captain, as well has training a number of new
ringers, Mrs Lord, helped to oversee the raising of the funds
to have a new Tenor Bell cast to replace the original cracked
one and all the bells rehung. After two years hard work, following
extensive repair work in the Tower, the bells were rehung in
2004.
(See
our Bells page for more details about this and bell ringing
in general).
